A Craftsman's Prayer
Own an exquisite piece of original poetry by Eric Hollenbeck! Written by Eric in 1996, this poem was handprinted on our 1909 pedal-powered Chandler & Price letterpress printer by one of our Blue Ox volunteers, Nanette Corley.
This is one of our less complex designs, but that doesn’t mean it was completely painless! Nanette actually printed about a hundred of these before we realized a single letter from one word was missing - luckily we discovered that slight mistake before a full run was done. Nanette spent nearly 20 hours putting together the chaise and printing these poems. Working on the printing press is truly a labor of love!
If you get the chance to take a tour of the shop, be sure to check out our print shop and take a step back in time!
Printed on 5x7 cream colored cardstock
The poem will arrive in a plastic protective sleeve with a cardboard backing
